Hello, class! In today’s lecture we’ll be looking at some sources for the precious backlinks to your website. These will help make your money site or tier 1 properties stronger and with more authority.
Site created on Weebly.com are free and look very nice, go create one related to your niche and point links back to your main site. Afterwards, try to give it more power by contributing to other Weebly sites, a lot of them have high PR and page authority and will help your own site in return. To find these sites on where to comment, use a query like this in Google:
site:.weebly.com “blog” “your niche keywords”
Plurk.com is kind of a mix between Facebook and Twitter, with statuses and updates. Just go there, create your profile and point links to your site. Post status updates and stay a little active for a while, in time your Plurk profile gains page authority and PR and will transfer link juice to your money domain.
Another wen 2.0 site good for backlinks is Scoop.it, which gives you a nifty way of collecting nice things, in this case your website’s content. The links from here are no-follow, but the advantage is that you can blast backlinks to your page here and have it gain page authority, which indeed will transfer back to your money site. It’s definitely one of the best ways to create powerful tier 1 web properties.
Lately people have been struggling with getting their Squidoo lenses approved and indexed. The trick here: get yourself a high Squidoo level and in turn your lenses will be auto-approved. Simple, no? Let me show you how to gain that high level: by doing some Quiz! Really, it’s like the fastest way to gain points and levels and become a trusted Squidoo profile. Learn more here:
Hardly big news here, as Pinterest is becoming a more and more important social network. But promotion here does work, it takes merely minutes to create a board related to your niche (obviously, use nice images and always describe them with words from your niche). Then you can build up the board by blasting backlinks and comments to it. And don’t forget to point some links back to your money site from the board.
Again, not a big secret here, but people tend to forget Tumblr exists and is gold for promotion. The way I use it is to strengthen the authority of the other tier 1 web 2.0 properties, by building a Tumblr blog for each profile and linking back images to that profile, using the niche keywords. The next step is pinning the newly posted images on Pinterest clones (there are many out there, just do a search on Google).
That’s it, all it does now is wait for you to put in the time and work. The more profiles you create, the more page authority you’ll get back to your site. Simple as that.
