The learning curve

Oook…so, where does it all begin? Well, it begins with a desire to do something more than just work daily for a measily pay, not get sleep and not be able to enjoy life at its fullest…it begins with wanting to be FREE, to be your own boss…it continues with a passion for the Internet and for this huge virtual world that is at the tip of your fingers…at least, that’s how it all began for me (not necessarily in this order).
I really enjoy being online…exploring…finding new things…learning…experimenting. Aaand…I’m really lazy and don’t want to work “hardware” for the rest of my life
So, I found the only way to get to financial independence doing what I enjoy best: an online business! Sounds so easy, doesn’t it? Well, that’s what I also thought at the begining…that’s what they all tell you (exactly what you want to hear): “get rich”, “huge dollar sums”, “easy as pie”, “anyone can do it” blah-blah-blah…you’ll find this 90 times out of 100 searches on google. But, is it true? Not exactly…they fail to tell you that you need to know a liiitle bit more about the online life then the average surfer in order to even setup a website. For instance, it’s real easy for me to tell you: “get a wysiwyg editor, a template and then build a site” but…it wouldn’t be that easy for you to actually follow this advice if you never even heard about webdesign or html.
I do not want to make this a looooong post, so let me give you the conclusion: the first thing you need to do is LEARN! Acquire as much know-how as you can…from every source (e-books, forums, newsletters)…try to “see” valuable information through the promotional trash…this process is neverending and only you can decide when would be a good time to put those information to work…and get busy online!
This is what I’ve been doing for the last…hmmm..let’s see…I’ve been thinking about it for a few years now and learning about it for 10-15 months. It doesn’t have to be that long for you though! I’ll try to give you a heads-up on what you should know, with everything from places to go and docs to read. In the meantime, I myself am still trying to put everything together and when I put my first money-making site online I’ll let you know.
Tommorow I’ll tell you what real business ideas I have found to be the best to start with…and maybe set your mind going the right way.
