First learning source: newsletters

Posted on June 9th, 2006 in Internet Marketing

Heeeello, party people! Today, as I read the first comment received on my blog, I feel bursting with enthusiasm and eager to share with you the information in this post. So, without further ado, let’s begin…
This time I’d like to talk to you about information sources. One of the most important resources is represented by newsletters. I know I am subscribed to a “few” (well, to be honest, about 25 or so :P) and really enjoy the knowledge they bring me each morning during my coffee time (right after the sports newspapers, of course :). But there are some things you need to know before subscribing: nothing is free on the Internet! For every “free gift” you receive there is an action that’s expected of you, wether it’s buying a product, subscribing to a service, clicking a link or something else. Every great seller would vouch for this: the best way to sell is to give the feeling that you are offering much more than you are receiving (usually by giving away stuff for free, bonuses, along with the actual product you’re selling; that free stuff can be a report, an e-book, a course, a software etc.). Why am I telling you this? Because you need to realize that the information in those newsletters will be packed with product offers and action calls for you to BUY something! So you need to learn how to filter genuine info from advertorials. This could be somewhat difficult at the beginning, but at least you’re ahead of the game by being warned of this. So, to put it simple, at the beginning just read, don’t go buying stuff until you are decided on starting a project and you really need that stuff for it! Ok?
After this needed introduction, I’ll give you some links for newsletters that I found to be the most usefull and honest, along with having plenty of new ideas and things to learn from. I have to tell you that I am not linked with any of these publishers and have no profit from them whatsoever, I just like to read their stuff (if I post a link that somehow brings me a benefit I’ll tell at that moment, so that you can willfully decide if you click it or not).
Bahh..enough chit-chat :) This are the newsletters I like (more like the addresses where you can subscribe to them) :

Ok, that’s about enough…I selected the ones I think are the best, but still, among them, some are better than the others. If you don’t want to read them all, I’ll highlight the ones I think you should really subscribe to in red (or i’ll make them italic and bold :) Well, that’s enough for now. Happy reading and see you soon!
